Uses one AA battery. I did put one in and second hand moves just fine. Little mice and work and play. I THINK two of them are trying to use little pieces of metal to crack open a nut while the other are partying by and in the water. :) Good condition. I see nothing missing. No chunks or cracks. Measures about 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" in size. Fairly heavy. See all photos. I tried to post a video showing the hand moving, but I just updated my computer and now I can't figure out where my downloads go!
