Description
The Vilac Company of southeastern France is one of the most celebrated makers of wooden toys in Europe today. From its beginnings in 1911, Vilac has used local beech trees for their toys, hand turning the wood on lathes, painting, polishing, lacquering and then assembling each cleverly designed toy with the utmost care. Their "Pinocchio on a tricycle" pull toy dates to about mid-century. It's well balanced and pulls easily, making a little jingle from the metal disks on its back wheels. (You may have to turn up your speaker to hear it well in my video.) Measures approximately: 10"H x 8"L x 7"W Weighs 1 lb. Condition: Wear to the paint, as shown. Light soil on the tubular woven, cotton legs. Otherwise FINE.
